Professor Greg Whyte OBE discusses why GojiAir is the right choice for schools and the workplace.
Frequently Asked Questions
No, HEPA filters are made of composite material, washing will impact its purification capacity.
When a purifier is being used in a densely polluted area, the treatment process will take an extended period of time. Continue operating the unit in high airflow (turbo) mode until air particles are reduced
The HP indicator light means the HEPA filter has reach 3,000 hours of operation. When ‘HP’ is displayed on the screen, under Power-Off state but without disconnecting power supply, long press the ON/OFF button for 10 seconds, where a ‘Da’ sound should be heard from the unit. Then, press the Air Speed Reduce Button. ‘HF’ will display at the Display Screen for 3 seconds to exit reminding mode. Next, turn on the unit for normal operation.
The nC indicator light means the NCCO reactor has reach 11,000 hours of operation. When ‘nC’ is displayed on the screen, under Power-Off state but without disconnecting power supply, long press the ON/OFF Button for 10 seconds, where a ‘Da’ sound should be heard from the unit. Then, press the Air Speed Increase Button. ‘nF’ will display at the Display Screen for 3 seconds to exit reminding mode. Next, turn on the unit for normal operation. NCCO Reactor replacement is subjective and if unit is loosing effective operation please replace the reactor.
It’s normal as catalytic oxidation is taking place inside of the NCCO Reactor. Any smell you may notice is harmless to human body, and will disappear after a period of operating time.
Turn off the appliance. Unplug and wait for 3-5 minutes to plug back to the socket.
The dust-removing filter may be blocked. The filter may need to be replaced. Please reference the section “maintenance and replace” of the unit’s product manual.
Check if the filters have been correctly installed.
The Goji ‘On-the-Go’ NCCO Air Purifiers will not emit excessive ozone. Goji ‘On-the-Go’ Air Purifiers are ETL certified which prove that we have passed Ul867. For this standard, the machine needs to put in an confined environment for 24 hours and the ozone concentration at the air outlet need to be lower than 50 ppb.
Active Oxygen is highly reactive molecules with oxygen atoms. Including oxygen radicals, negatively and positively charged oxygen, ozone and hydroxyl ions.
The Reactor does use zeolite. The appliances do not contain erionite.
Please see the link below for a study done by a Fujita Health University Okazaki Medical Center’s Virology and Parasitology professor (Prof. Kawada Taka) regarding low level ozone to removing COVID-19.
This study of COVID-19 recognised the effectiveness of low-level OZONE in killing COVID-19. The Goji ‘On-the-Go’ NCCO Air Purifier technology uses a similar process by incorporating the Active Oxygen Generator (AOG) and NCCO Reactor to generate active-oxygen with ozone within the system.
The AOG and active oxygen primary function in the system is to chemically oxidise the VOCs to become CO2 and water molecules. With this patented NCCO technology, all the ozone generated and consumed is within the product itself. Our cETL certification shows that our emission of ozone from our product is less than 50 ppb, which is the low level value of ozone suggested by the Professor in this study.
YES, you can take your portable air purifier with you into the cabin with you on the aircraft. Do not put your Goji ‘On-the-Go’ Air Purifier into your checked baggage. Your air purifier should remain stowed during take-off and landing. When the cabin crew announces that laptops and other items can be used after take-off, you can begin using your Goji ‘On-the-Go’ Air Purifier. Stow again when the crew is making the cabin ready for landing.
The CAA certifies parts and components of the aircraft. The IATA, International Air Transport Association, does publish standards for Lithium-Ion Batteries used in electronics safe for carry-on use aboard air craft. The battery in the Goji ‘On-the-Go’ Air Purifier meets the standards and power ratings specified by IATA.
Any questions by airline or security personal is simply based on not having encountered one of these new appliances previously. Parts, components and the battery is within IATA standards similar to batteries in a cell phone, laptop, tablet or other electronic devices. The battery can only power the fan inside your Goji ‘On-the-Go’ , the air purification elements are un-powered. There is no regulation by CAA or IATA that restricts the use a portable air purifier on an air craft.
