The Problem – VOCs
The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) headquarters were relocated from Central to One Island East in Quarry Bay.
The renovation of the new office space and the addition of new furniture increased the concentration of formaldehyde and various other Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), producing unpleasant, pungent odours.
This compromised the health of employees and created an unpleasant working environment.
The installation of ceiling mounted NCCO air purifiers throughout the new building effectively removed all harmful substances and pungent odours.
This significantly improved Internal Air Quality and demonstrated the company’s commitment to employees’ safety and wellbeing.
