Tuen Mun Hospital, Hong Kong
The Problem – Odours
Tuen Mun Hospital is one of the main hospitals within West of the New Territories and has a 24-hour accident and emergency department.
Due to the hours of operation, footfall is high, as is the frequency of use of the restrooms and waiting areas the lobby areas, causing the continuous spread of odours and disease emanating from patients’ waste matter.

The Solution
Bespoke NCCO Air Treatment Units were installed in the restrooms across the hospital site.
This proved highly effective in treating pollutants at source, dramatically decreasing odours, and reducing the spread of viruses and bacteria.
The improvements were immediately noticed by patients, visitors and staff and raised the Indoor Air Quality up to an acceptable standard.
